On Friday 18th September we celebrated 50 years in education. A huge thank you to everyone for their contribution towards making our Open Day another memorable event in the history of our school. We were joined by past and present parents, pupils, teachers, Headteachers and other friends of the school and hope you all enjoyed seeing Hadrian once more.

The choir began the celebrations in the marquee with a selection of uplifting songs.
Hadrian’s 50th Celebrations made it into the local newspaper.
Our Time Capsule was buried during a special ceremony today, Friday 23rd October, attended by all students, staff, governors and the Deputy Mayor councillor Peter Hollick. It has been buried just outside the front entrance of the school and is to mark our 50th anniversary.
It is hoped that the time capsule will stay buried for another 50 years underneath a specially engraved stone plaque. Click on the plaque for photos of today’s ceremony
