Please find below our latest update from Central Bedfordshire with a flowchart showing the procedures to be taken should a young person, or someone in your household, develop symptoms of COVID-19.
NHS Information letter dated 23rd September – This is an important letter from the NHS to share some information on how we can work together to make sure we can continue to give children and young people the best education in the safest way possible.
Start and finish times
School starts for all pupils at 9.00am and ends at 3.15pm.
Personal equipment – COVID-19 can be spread on surfaces. This means that we want to reduce the amount of shared equipment. We are putting in a number of measures to achieve this.
Parents are asked to provide children with their own equipment/supplies which are to be left in school to limit bags coming in and out of school.
- Packed lunches will be brought in where possible (grab bags can be purchased through School Grid and will be available for Free School Meals children but hot meals will not be served as lunches will be eaten in classrooms)
- Children will bring in their own named water bottles so we are not using shared cups
- Children will bring in their own stationery/named pencil cases
- a whiteboard pen
- a glue stick
- pencil, ruler, rubber, sharpener (with a cover)
- a purple pen
- coloured pencils
